LETROZOLE is an oral medication indicated for the adjuvant treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive early breast cancer. It is a selective, non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor that significantly lowers serum estradiol levels and has no effect on the formation of adrenal corticosteroids or aldosterone.
